Celebrating the Spirit of the New Year at Cascade Village
The start of a new year always feels like standing at the edge of possibility, crisp mountain air filling your lungs, snowflakes glinting in the sunlight, and a sense that anything can happen. January in Bend is more than just another month; it’s the beginning of a season filled with renewal, reflection, and excitement. The holidays may have passed, but the energy of celebration continues to sparkle across our
community, especially here at Village, Cascade Bend’s premier 55+ community, where neighbors come together to enjoy the beauty of winter and the promise of new beginnings.
The Joy of Fresh Starts
January invites us to reset, recharge, and refocus. Whether you’re setting New Year’s resolutions or simply choosing to start the year with a slow breath and a sense of gratitude, Bend offers endless ways to refresh your mind, body, and spirit. Perhaps your goal for 2026 is to spend more time outdoors and there’s no better backdrop for that than the snow-dusted peaks of the Cascades. Mt. Bachelor is in full swing, drawing skiers and snow- boarders eager to carve new trails through powdery snow. For those who prefer a more tranquil pace, winter walks along the Deschutes River Trail or snowshoe adventures through Wanoga Sno-Park make for a beautiful day out.
